Established in February 2014 by two local engineers, Mitchell J. Marmande, PE and Barry J. Kennedy, PE, both licensed professional engineers and land surveyors in the State of Louisiana, Delta Coast Consultants has deep roots in the community.

Our firm’s primary focus is consulting engineering and design for public sector clients, but our services have also proven invaluable to private sector clients. Notably, we serve as the Program Manager for the multi-billion dollar Morganza to the Gulf – Hurricane Protection Project, demonstrating our commitment to the preservation and restoration of Coastal Louisiana.

With a highly skilled team, state-of-the-art technology, and a fleet of specialized vessels, Delta Coast Consultants is uniquely positioned to provide data collection, surveying, and engineering expertise for projects of any scale. We bring not only experience but also a deep understanding of the region’s challenges.

In 2022, we established our Field Operations Office, which operates a specialized fleet of vessels equipped for diverse environmental surveys. These vessels, capable of navigating various water bodies from shallow marsh ponds to deep lakes and bays, are outfitted with precise instrumentation for high-quality data collection, including advanced hydrographic surveys using side-scan sonar and multi-beam systems.
