Program Management for Morganza to the Gulf Hurricane Protection System

The Morganza to the Gulf – Hurricane Protection Project is an authorized Federal Flood Protection project which spans approximately 114 miles across the southern portions of Lafourche and Terrebonne Parishes. The Terrebonne Levee and Conservation District, as primary facilitator and Owner of the project, has issued a revolving contract to Delta Coast Consultants to provide overall Program Management services for this project since 2014. Through this contract, DCC provides multi-level oversight and assists TLCD with nearly every aspect of project implementation.

A primary function of these program management services is to scope, negotiate, and provide technical guidance for engineering tasks which various consultants may be performing throughout the Morganza Project. DCC also assists TLCD in planning, design, and implementation of in-house projects and features related to the project. DCC provides a full spectrum of planning, engineering, and surveying services related to the project which include:

Construction Oversight
Topographic, Geodetic, and Hydrographic Surveys
Mitigation Planning, Design, and Oversight
Design of ancillary features and in-house rehabilitation and maintenance projects
Consultant Oversight and Management
Budget Preparation
Regulatory Coordination and Permitting
Feasibility and Alignment Studies
Land rights planning and Right-of-way acquisition
Design and Coordinate Relocation of all pipelines, and utilities, etc.
