Delta Coast Consultants currently holds a Professional Oyster Biology Services contract with CPRA to assist the state in settling oyster lease damages in preparation of coastal restoration projects.  DCC biologists have a long history with the State of Louisiana to perform these services as well as serving on the OLACP study group which develops the framework and policy that governs the program.  The Program is regulated by State Statute and Regulation and promotes a fair and equitable mechanism for CPRA to compensate the oyster industry for impacts resulting from coastal restoration activities.
